In Word X, players are challenged to place upcoming letters on the field to create words from letter chains. By forming words, players can remove the letters from the field and earn points. To strategize their moves, players can also click on a letter to block it from dropping. In case of a mistake, the game allows players to use the Back button to undo their move.
The game continues until there are no more available spaces on the field and all letters are unblocked. To maximize their score, players can aim to create word combo drops.
